"Access to Healthcare" is a transport scheme designed for people who need to visit their doctor or nurse. In some areas of Wealden, hospital appointments can also be accommodated.

It is open to anyone, young or old, and is of particular benefit to those who do not have access to public transport, own a car or are unable to drive. The scheme is staffed by local volunteer drivers, using their own cars.
We have a central booking office which is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. There is a charge of £5 return. Please click here for how to book.
The Access To Healthcare scheme is operated by Wealden Bus Alliance, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), created to identify, promote and encourage community transport initiatives throughout the Wealden District and its environs.

The project is supported by Wealden District Council.
